DIRTREX One-Year Limited Warranty
Replacement Procedures & Liability Terms
All DIRTREX electric dirt bikes come with a 1-year manufacturer's limited warranty that covers the original buyer against factory defects in materials and workmanship.
Warranty Eligibility & Coverage Period
Your warranty automatically activates once you complete checkout through our online store. Coverage belongs solely to the original purchaser and starts the day you receive your bike.
Warranty Transfer Rules
A secondary owner may claim remaining warranty benefits only if both of these requirements are fully met:
● The 1-year warranty window from the original delivery date has not expired;
● The new owner can provide the original buyer’s full name and original order number.
2. General Warranty Guidelines
Every DIRTREX bike includes one full year of coverage starting on delivery day, solely for manufacturing flaws. Free promotional accessories are not covered under this warranty.
DIRTREX will ship free replacement parts for any component that fails due to factory defects or damage sustained during transit.
DIRTREX retains full authority to decide whether any damage or malfunction on the bike or covered parts qualifies for warranty service.
2.1 How to File a Warranty Claim
If you discover a potential factory defect, start by contacting our official website or the online retailer where you made your purchase. All warranty submissions require proof of purchase plus clear photos or videos showing the damaged parts.
We recommend emailing our support team at support@dirtrex.com first for troubleshooting before submitting a formal claim. Valid claims will be honored for 12 months after your original delivery date.
We will not send replacement parts until we receive photo or video proof of damage via email.
Important Note: This warranty only covers free replacement of defective physical parts. Any out-of-pocket costs you incur—including installation labor, mechanic shop fees, and diagnostic service charges—are your responsibility and will not be reimbursed.
2.2 Shipping Damage Claims
On rare occasions, units arrive damaged in transit. If this happens, email support@dirtrex.com right away with photos or video evidence of the damage.
Scratches or blemishes on complimentary free accessories from shipping are not eligible for replacement or compensation.
Heads Up: We only accept transit damage claims within seven (7) days of receiving your bike. Claims submitted after this window will be denied.
3. Covered Components
3.1 Frame
DIRTREX frames carry a 1-year limited warranty from delivery. Frames with confirmed factory defects will be replaced at no cost; all labor fees to install the new frame are not covered.
DIRTREX reserves the right to provide scratch-and-dent inventory frames as warranty replacements, and may substitute with an identical or functionally comparable frame at our discretion.
The following frame issues are excluded from warranty coverage:
● Rust and corrosion
● Faded paint, surface scratches, dents from impact
● Structural damage from crashes or hard impacts
● Permanent modifications (drilling, welding, cutting the frame)
● Worn chainguard mounting points (if equipped)
3.2 Batteries
All factory DIRTREX batteries receive a 1-year limited warranty. If your battery fails due to a manufacturing defect within the coverage window, we will repair or replace it free of charge. The warranty timeline does NOT reset for repaired or replacement batteries—it stays tied to your original delivery date.
Battery Exclusions
This warranty does NOT cover battery damage caused by:
● Crashes, reckless riding, stunt use, racing, or any operation outside the bike’s intended purpose;
● Improper storage; exposure to water, chemicals, mud, dirt, or extreme temperature swings;
● Neglect; excessive physical or electrical strain;
● Cosmetic flaws such as scratches and dents, unless caused by a factory error;
● Serial numbers or barcodes that have been scratched off, altered, defaced, or made unreadable;
● Normal wear over regular use;
● Third-party chargers, accessories, or add-ons not sold or approved by DIRTREX;
● Assembly, maintenance, or repairs performed against the official Assembly & Owner’s Manual;
● External disasters: collisions, fire, flood, lightning, earthquakes, long-term harsh weather exposure, theft, blown fuses, or incompatible power sources;
● Bikes purchased or operated outside the United States and Canada;
● Damage from using an incompatible third-party charger or improper charging practices;
● Cracked battery seals or visible signs of tampering with internal battery hardware;
● Batteries removed and installed onto non-DIRTREX equipment.
3.3 OEM Parts & Components
Original DIRTREX stock parts are covered for 1 year against factory defects. Damage caused by user error or abuse is not covered. The buyer is responsible for all shipping fees associated with warranty replacement parts.
Standard Part Exclusions
This limited warranty does not cover the following conditions:
● Normal wear and tear unrelated to factory defects. Consumable wear items include: Brake pads, Brake rotors, Wheel spokes, Tires and inner tubes, Drive chains, Chainrings, Cassettes, Crankset assemblies.
● Corrosion on electrical wiring and parts.
● Faded, scratched, or worn cosmetic surfaces and finishes.
● All labor fees for part removal, installation, and mechanic service.
● Damage from crashes, misuse, stunt/racing use, poor storage, liquid/grime exposure, improper power input, or neglect.
● Scratches, dents, and cosmetic blemishes not originating at the factory.
● Serial numbers or barcodes that are removed, altered, damaged, or illegible.
● Damage triggered by unapproved third-party accessories and add-ons.
● Improper assembly, tuning, maintenance, or repairs that contradict the official owner’s manual.
● Harm from external events, including collisions, fire, flood, lightning, theft, and severe weather.
● Units purchased or ridden outside the US and Canada.
● Third-party mechanic, diagnostic, installation, and service fees of any kind.
